Deputy Chief Gary Berendzen consoles Justin Barksdale of Central Callaway Fire District after the body of a 6-year-old was finally recovered from the home that was destroyed by fire overnight in Holt’s Summit, Mo. It was quite a weekend with ‘ball assignments. It must be spring.
